2012 Annual General Meeting

NBPMI’s Board of Directors were pleased to host the 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 19, 2012 at the Happinez Wine Bar in Saint John, NB.

A full evening started off with a social where our members mingled with each other and took the opportunity to network. Our business meeting followed where our President Bill O’Donnell, Accreditation Director Janice Furey and Treasurer Lori Doiron each gave their reports.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of certificates to 4 new SCMP’s. These individuals received the highest achievement in our field! Their hard work, commitment and desire to excel in the field of Supply Chain has not gone unnoticed. The effort that these folks have put into the program, the time away from their family and the knowledge that they have gained will enable them to advance in their careers and be sought out by employers. Congratulations for achieving this milestone. This represents what NBPMI and PMAC are all about - a principal source of SCM training, education and professional development leading to the SCMP.

Member companies represented at the AGM included Government of New Brunswick, Mount Allison University, Cooke Aquaculture, Emera, Irving Oil Ltd, JD Irving Ltd., Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan, Saint John Energy, Master Packaging and others.

The Board would like to thank our members and employers for making our event a success.
